What size is the droplet produced by an ESS sprayer?

To put it into perspective a grain of table salt is 100 microns in size, our droplets are an average 40 Microns, which is 60 microns smaller than a grain of salt. The 40 Microns size allows for the best even coverage by allowing the droplets to linger in the air instead of falling straight to the ground. Then the charged droplets become attracted to surfaces that are grounded.
